Vintage Vinyl HK is super excited to announce its second release VVHK002 - a split lathe-cut 7" featuring hyperactive Hong Kong cacophonists Bastardon with black-hearted California shoegazers Summer Goth. The EP will be limited to 66 crucial cuts only. The release will feature a new Summer Goth song entitled ‘My Kingdom’ and four new tracks by the ‘don, including a cover of Minor Threat’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Hear It’ and the following tune – ‘The Nuclear Option’.

Bastardon's Arthur & Gabe recorded at Sunset Studio trading riffs for hot sauce with engineer Paul MacLean; SG's Max, Tammy & Rachel stayed at home and worked with Marc Estabillo in Union City.

“This is such an exciting project, it is important always to support local talent but perhaps now in Hong Kong it is important to recognise the impact that the artistic community has had in continuing to perform and produce new music over the past several months against considerable adversity.”
